Ways to Give - Make a Difference

Protecting the environment - everyone wants to do their part, but it's hard to know where to begin. At the Eastern Ontario Model Forest (EOMF), we would ask you to start local. Established in 1992 as a not-for-profit, charitable organization, EOMF works with government, landowners, industry, First Nations, non-government organizations, and others to implement innovative and sustainable forest management practices that affect all of us.

We need your help.

There are several ways that you can contribute in helping facilitate Healthy Forests. Here are the easy options available:

EOMF - Annual Membership - photo credit:Simon Lunn

Annual Membership

Members can vote at our Annual General Meeting, sit on one of our Committees, be elected to the Board of Directors, and receive our regular EOMF E-News.

Corporate Sponsorship

This category enables the forest-based industry that we work to serve, and other companies interested in raising their corporate social and environmental responsibility profile, to contribute to EOMF’s ongoing sustainability. It’s also where NGO’s and government agencies can donate.

Give the gift of forest sustainability to a friend or family member to celebrate any occasion! Choose your amount, e-card, personalized message and we’ll send it. This fund honours recently departed friends of the EOMF by enabling others to make a charitable donation in their name to support our ongoing mission and work. This easy giving option allows a donor to enroll one time and designate a ‘recurrent’ Monthly Giving amount. Your charitable tax receipt will be forwarded in the cumulative amount at the end of each tax year.
