Get involved with the EOMF!

From taking in a model forest workshop to joining one of our committees or even sitting on the board of directors, there are many ways to get involved with the model forest.

Donations to the EOMF are very much appreciated, and you can make a pledge by filling out the form to the right.

A great way to get involved is to attend some of the gatherings and workshops put on by ourselves and by our many partners. Educational, enlightening, and fun, these events are a great place to learn about forestry in eastern Ontario, and are also a great way to meet interesting people and make new friends.

Own a woodlot?

If you do, you might want to check out the EOMF's Private Woodlot Certification project. By joining the project, you'll learn all about sustainable forest management, you'll meet many like-minded people, and you'll be ensuring that your woodlot remains a valuable resource for generations. On top of that, your woodlot can be FSC certified.

Donations to the EOMF

With your donation to the EOMF, you will be taking an active role in helping to sustain and ensure the health of forest ecosystems within eastern Ontario and beyond.

You will also be helping to build partnerships in the region that contribute to forests for seven generations.

The Eastern Ontario Model Forest is a registered charity, and receipts for tax purposes are available.

To make a donation, you can either fill out the pledge form below, or contact the EOMF directly.

Targeting your donation

You can now specify how your donation will be used by targeting it towards certain model forest initiatives.

Right now, you can specify either a General EOMF donation, or you can target your contribution toward the conservation of butternut, a remarkable species under threat of disease in eastern Ontario.
